Saskia After a career in international real estate sales and management, I have dedicated the past 17+ years to health and wellbeing through movement, yoga, meditation and bodywork. I like to say, I used to sell outside homes. Now I help people find their inner home. Growing up in the Pyrenees as an extreme sports athlete, my own experience of injuries and chronic pain led me to explore how we move and how we can find a more natural way of living in our bodies.
Alongside my movement practice, I have produced, hosted and led more than 35 retreats across Europe, North Africa, Southeast Asia and South America.
I spent five years intensively studying the Bowspring method, later helping to run a flagship studio, support its international community and contribute to its teacher certification programme. In 2017, I spent a year in Argentina introducing the method and training teachers, most of whom continue to teach today. For the past ten years, I have specialised in spinal alignment, working with hundreds of clients to help them address longstanding aches and pains and move with greater ease. My work explores fascia, tensegrity, breath and three-dimensional movement and has included case studies with the University of Mar del Plata in Argentina.
Today, I bring these experiences together in the SAS Method, my evolving approach to natural alignment. Through online group classes, private sessions, trainings, workshops and retreats, I explore how we can shift our postural patterns, release habitual tension and rediscover greater freedom in our bodies.
My passion is understanding how the body works as a whole and how we can find greater balance by working with nature. I believe that by changing the way we move, we can change the way we experience life, helping us stay connected, mobile and open to its adventures at every age.
